Statewide vision, local impact

Louisiana CASA is the statewide association supporting 18 local CASA programs. Our mission is to advocate for the best interests of children in foster care by equipping local programs with the resources, guidance, and oversight they need to succeed. We achieve this by fostering a culture of collaboration, offering training and technical support, and working alongside stakeholders to shape policies that benefit children and volunteers alike. As part of a larger national network, we are united by a shared commitment to ensuring every child has a safe and permanent home.

Making a difference for children

Louisiana CASA's work ensures that children in foster care across our state receive the dedicated advocacy they deserve. From enhancing program standards to advocating for child-centered policies, we empower local CASA programs to create meaningful and lasting impacts in their communities. Louisiana CASA delivers comprehensive training, professional development opportunities, and educational resources to equip our network with the skills and knowledge necessary to excel in their role.

Accountability

Louisiana CASA plays a crucial role in helping local CASA programs ensure they meet National CASA standards. Through regular assessments, guidance, and support, we foster a culture of accountability that upholds the highest standards of advocacy.

Support

Louisiana CASA offers tailored technical assistance and support to local programs, providing
the guidance and resources needed to overcome
challenges and enhance their advocacy efforts.

Awareness

Louisiana CASA leads statewide recruitment campaigns, creating toolkits to help local programs engage volunteers. We also facilitate collaborative meetings and offer in-house design support, ensuring a unified and impactful message statewide.
