The Science of Resilience and HopeÂ
Resiliency is the ability to adapt and recover from difficult or challenging situations, and it has been linked to positive health outcomes and wellbeing. This presentation will cover topics such as the science of resilience, the role of supportive relationships and environments, and practical strategies for building resilience in individuals and communities. The presentation will draw on research studies such as those conducted by the American Psychological Association on the impact of resiliency on physical and mental health outcomes, and the National Institutes of Health on the role of protective factors in promoting resilience. By providing education and resources on resiliency, the webinar could help to prevent child abuse and promote positive outcomes for children and families facing challenging situations.
