Libbie Sonnier, Executive Director at the Louisiana Policy Institute for Children, has asked CASA to help promote #LAEarlyEdMonth on Thursday, February 10th. I'm copying Libbie's original email below as well as links to their toolkit and Libbie's contact information. Our #LAEarlyEdMonth Social Media Day of Action is all day on Thursday, February 10th, and hope that you can participate by scheduling your posts for next week! You can find the link to our #LAEarlyEdMonth social media toolkit here. The toolkit has several resources for social media actions including sample language for social media posts, graphics, and key messages. Remember to use the hashtag #LAEarlyEdMonth when scheduling your posts so that we can see you! This day of action is part of Louisiana Early Ed Month 2022, an annual event that we organize with our partners to raise awareness about critical issues surrounding early care and education that impact children and families in the state of Louisiana. Every voice helps when amplifying the message that Louisiana’s future depends upon investing in quality early education experiences that prepare our children to grow, learn and succeed in school and in life, and Louisiana’s present depends upon supporting working parents. We appreciate your partnership! Best, Libbie P.S. For more information about other events happening during Early Ed Month 2022, please visit https://www.policyinstitutela.org/laearlyedmonth2022. For more information or questions, please contact Libbie Sonnier. CASA of the 16th JDC will be holding their Change A Child's Story Into A Fairytale Gala on Thursday, March 10th at 6:30PM. Join them for a special night that will include a silent auction and guest speaker, Super Bowl Champion and Pastor, Chris Reis. Tickets are $25 and includes light hor d'oeuvres plus admission to the silent auction and the opportunity to hear from guest speaker Chris Reis. Visit www.casa16jdc.org or visit their Facebook to purchase tickets or become a sponsor.
