AmeriCorps VISTA

Looking for a meaningful way to serve your community and gain valuable professional experience? Louisiana CASA Association is recruiting individuals across Louisiana to become AmeriCorps VISTA members and serve with local CASA programs. We are currently seeking candidates in West Baton Rouge, Hammond, DeRidder, and other communities across the state. AmeriCorps VISTA is a national service program that places members with nonprofit organizations and public agencies to help strengthen programs, build capacity, and create long term solutions in communities.
VISTA members serve full time for at least one year, gaining hands on professional experience while helping organizations expand their impact. Send your résumé to admin@louisianacasa.org to learn more and be considered for an available placement.

Louisiana CASA Association

Statewide Training and Professional Development Consultant 

RFP Number: 2026-001

Proposal Due Date: August 15, 2026 

Contract Period: September 1, 2026 – September 30, 2027

The Louisiana CASA Association ("Louisiana CASA") is requesting proposals from qualified individuals or firms to provide statewide training and professional development services under a professional services contract. The selected consultant will work collaboratively with Louisiana CASA staff to strengthen the statewide CASA network through the planning, coordination, and administration of educational opportunities that support local CASA programs, volunteers, board members, and community partners. Funding for this contract is contingent upon grant funding.

Proposals must include each of the components listed below and be submitted to Louisiana CASA by August 15, 2026. Proposals should be clear, concise, and demonstrate the proposer's qualifications, relevant experience, and approach to successfully performing the services described in the RFP linked below.
