Essential Parenting Skills: Navigating Parenting Classes

About

In developing a case plan, one common requirement for parents is to attend parenting classes. These classes, available in various formats, teach essential child-rearing skills that some parents may never have learned. This training will cover the specifics of what parenting classes entail and how facilitators monitor parents' progress and learning. CASA volunteers and staff will have an enhanced understanding of how to best advocate for children as parents obtain skills necessary to provide a safe, nurturing home.
