2025 GIVE A CUP FOR CASA: SEPTEMBER 22 - 29, 2025

Thank you for filling our cup!

This year’s Give A Cup for CASA was our most successful yet, and it’s all thanks to you!  To every donor, supporter, and advocate who chose to skip a cup of coffee and give instead — we are deeply grateful. Your generosity strengthens our statewide network, helps us recruit more CASA volunteers, and ensures that children in foster care have the powerful voice of an advocate by their side.

A special thank you goes to French Truck Coffee for donating a beautiful gift basket and helping us make this year’s campaign extra special. Together, we’ve proven that even the smallest daily sacrifice can add up to a big impact for Louisiana’s children.

Your Support Matters

Children who have experienced abuse or neglect fare better with a CASA volunteer by their side. Studies show:

Our Work

CASA stands for Court Appointed Special Advocates. We are a nationwide organization dedicated to advocating for abused and neglected children in the foster care system. Our mission is to ensure that every child has the opportunity to thrive in a safe, permanent, and loving home. CASA programs recruit and train volunteers from the community who are passionate about helping children. CASA volunteers are appointed by judges to advocate for the best interests of children in foster care. They gather information, make recommendations to the court, and ensure that children receive the services and support they need. CASA volunteers provide a consistent, caring presence in the lives of children, helping to navigate the complexities of the child welfare system and advocating for their needs and rights.

Our Mission

Louisiana CASA is the statewide association for the 17 local CASA programs in our state. We work to connect each part of the CASA community and empower local programs to perform at their highest level. Louisiana CASA provides training, resources, and services to local CASA programs, ensuring they operate effectively and efficiently. We educate the public about child welfare issues and the importance of CASA advocacy. Additionally, Louisiana CASA advocates for changes in the child welfare system to improve outcomes for children in foster care.
