Child Welfare Assessment and Decision Making Model Training
Join Louisiana CASA and the Department of Children and Families for our CWADM Training. CWADM is the Child Welfare Assessment and Decision Making Model used by Louisiana child welfare. This was implemented in 2020. The training will provide participants with an overview of this model and the tools used. Participants will be familiar with the CWADM terms and how DCFS assess safety and risk in child welfare. There will be a review of the safety assessment tool as well as discussion around safety planning with families. This virtual training is free and open to all CASA volunteers and CASA staff.
