2025 DCFS Staff Member of the Year Nomination

The DCFS Staff Member of the Year recognizes a Department of Children and Family Services (DCFS) staff member who has shown exemplary commitment to the well-being of children and has provided valuable support to their colleagues and partner organizations. The recipient of this award has made a significant impact in the lives of children served by DCFS and CASA.

All current DCFS staff members affiliated with a local CASA program are eligible for this award.

All nominations are due by March 28, 2025.

Nominee's Information

Letters of Support

A letter of support from someone who works directly with the DCFS staff member e.g., director or staff member, is required. The second letter of support may come from those listed above or anyone who is associated with the program, e.g. staff, volunteer, judge, board member, or community professional.

What to include in the letters of support:

-Discuss how the DCFS staff member heightened the community’s awareness of issues facing abused and neglected children.

-The DCFS worker’s role in advocating for the child’s best interest

-Collaboration with CASA.
