2025 Judge of the Year Nomination

The Judge of the Year award recognizes a judge who has shown exceptional dedication and support for the CASA program and the children it serves. The recipient of this award has gone above and beyond in their role as a judicial partner and has demonstrated a deep commitment to ensuring that the best interests of the children are prioritized in the court system.

Any current judge who has significantly helped abused and neglected children through work with a CASA program is eligible for this award.

All nominations are due by March 28, 2025.

Nominee's Information

Letters of Support

A letter of support from a staff member who works with the judge, e.g., executive director, program director, or program coordinator, is required. The second letter of support may come from those listed above or anyone who is associated with the program, e.g. staff, volunteer, board member, or community professional.

What to include in the letters of support:

-How did the judge demonstrate leadership and innovation in promoting CASA within the judicial community and the public?

-Describe the judge’s significant contribution toward advancing children’s issues.

-Discuss how the judge has exemplified exceptional leadership in furthering consistent quality representation of children.
