WHO WE ARE
Your time can change a child's life forever
Every child deserves a voice in the decisions that shape their future. For children in foster care, that voice can be you. As a CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocate) volunteer, you’ll stand up for a child’s best interests in courtrooms, schools, and the community. Your advocacy ensures that the child’s needs and wishes are heard, helping them find a safe, permanent home where they can thrive. We’ll provide the training and support you need to confidently navigate the system and give a child the advocacy they deserve. Becoming a CASA volunteer is more than a commitment; it’s a powerful way to transform lives, one child at a time.
CASA VOLUNTEERS
Advocates for abused and neglected children
Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) volunteers are trained community members appointed by judges to provide information and make recommendations to the court about what is in the best interests of children who have been removed from their homes due to neglect or abuse. CASA volunteers are objective community advocates who are not part of the child welfare system, and who focus their efforts solely on providing a voice for the child and making recommendations in regards to services, placement, visitation, reunification, and permanency. CASA volunteers monitor the child's situation throughout the court case to make sure they are safe and to ensure their psychological, physical, educational, and other needs are met, with the ultimate goal of finding them a safe and permanent home.
