Now is the time to submit your application. The process to become a CASA includes:
- Apply: www.casa18jdc.org/volunteer.
- Interview.
- Background screening.
- Reference check.
- Orientation and pre-service training.
- Courtroom observation.
- Swearing in by a judge.
- YOU'RE A CASA and will then help #ChangeAChildsStory.
Yes, there is a process because the work of our CASAs are vital and make a significant impact in the lives of local children in foster care due to abuse or neglect. They don't pick their situation, but you can be that one person to make a difference in their lives.
