Introduction to Trauma-Informed Care

This presentation provides an overview of research into childhood adversity and how to incorporate a trauma-informed approach in our work to improve services and workplaces for everyone. It includes actions and strategies to provide trauma-informed care in various settings. CASAs will learn tools to incorporate trauma-informed approaches to their interactions with children and families.

Stephanie Breeden, LMSW, Director of Member Services for Louisiana CASA, and Madelyn Rosette, Executive Director for CASA of St. Landry-Evangeline, will be the facilitators for this training. Both Stephanie and Madelyn are certified ACE Educators.
