TOF Refresher and Trainer Roundtable

Facilitating the National CASA Pre-Service Curriculum is a key responsibility of CASA staff statewide. The Training of Facilitators (TOF) provides the foundation for adult learning and effective facilitation. 

This TOF Refresher & Trainer Roundtable is open to CASA staff who have completed a full TOF and attended a National CASA Pre-Service Training. The session will offer fresh ideas for facilitation, revisit best practices in training adult learners, and strengthen skills in preparing advocates for children. 

A highlight of this training is the Trainer Roundtable, where facilitators from across Louisiana will exchange successes, challenges, and strategies to better engage participants and overcome common obstacles. This collaborative discussion will provide practical solutions and new approaches to enhance training statewide. 

Louisiana CASA will not be providing lunch for this training. Please bring a bag lunch for yourself.

This training is for CASA Staff only and those staff must have participated in a full Training of Facilitators training prior to attending this refresher.
