About
Audience: CASA/GAL program staff
As a part of the Poverty Learning Series, National CASA is partnering with Think Tank, Inc. to present Virtual COPE (the Cost Of Poverty Experience). Virtual COPE is an opportunity to experience poverty firsthand through the eyes of real families. Over the course of 90-minutes, participants engage in an immersive and interactive experience that gives a glimpse into the lives of families in our communities that face poverty every day. The experiential nature of this training helps participants more deeply understand the complexities of poverty, paving the way for addressing the issues of poverty more comprehensively through our advocacy work.
Due to capacity limits, registration is limited to one person per program and is open to CASA staff only. Depending on your organization’s COVID-related practices, this is an opportunity where a small group could gather and participate together. Come prepared to participate on camera and share your ideas.
