CASA of St. Landry–Evangeline Named Non-Profit of the Year

We are thrilled to share that CASA of St. Landry–Evangeline has been recognized as Non-Profit of the Year by the St. Landry Chamber of Commerce! This award highlights the outstanding contributions local nonprofits make to the community — and we are so proud to see CASA’s impact honored in this way.

CASA of St. Landry–Evangeline empowers everyday citizens to stand up for children who have experienced abuse or neglect. Through dedicated volunteer advocates, the program ensures that children in foster care have a strong voice in court and the support they need to find safe, permanent homes. Last year, CASA volunteers across Louisiana devoted tens of thousands of hours to this critical mission — and CASA of St. Landry–Evangeline continues to shine as a leader in advocacy and community engagement.

This recognition is not only a celebration of CASA of St. Landry–Evangeline but also of the collective impact of all CASA programs in Louisiana. When one program is lifted up, it reflects the strength, commitment, and compassion of our entire network.
